Contest : Lucy's Desire To Protect

This is a contest entry for with the theme; Desire To Protect!

I worked on this since the start of the competition but damn, it really took a lot of time to make it look like what it is now.

AND I KNOW, FAILED BACKGROUND IS EPIC FAIL.

So Lucy is trying to protect her stellar spirits with... her body. Apparently, I left out her keys and whip just to make it more dramatic. Like, to emphasize how strong her desire to protect them. Leo seemed displeased with the idea though because I ship LokixLucy Lucy saved him before once, so I guess he wouldn't want Lucy to do it again. Cancer was a bastard to draw.

I actually have finals this week, so I can't actually work on this piece but oh well.

I have no more to say.

EDIT : pointed out some mistakes on this piece. I ended up putting on the whip afterall cause he said Lucy looked like she was running away from the combat instead of the other way around. I also changed the direction of the shooting star/falling magic (whichever way you want to believe it). Thanks for the comments! ^^

EDIT EDIT: 4000+ downloads?! Seriously guys? I can't believe it myself. Usually my stuff got downloaded up to like, 15 AT MOST. Or is it a DA bug? I mean, how come I have more downloads than views?
